The Group started in 2018 from a group of 7 prostate cancer patients who had attended a course run by WP Cancer Charity staff All of us found the the opportunity to share and discuss our experiences and issues very beneficial. The group have focussed primarily on mutual support but took the opportunity to learn from guest speakers about a big range of issues relevant to their situation. They were also asked to provide a patient’s input to several research projects being conducted at West Park. The Group are keen to keep going after 6 years and to recruit new members who are cancer patients who would appreciate our mutual support ethos.
