Peter was diagnosed with locally advanced prostate cancer in 2016. Following a radical prostatectomy and, a year later, radiotherapy for residual cancer he is being monitored with 6-monthly PSA tests. Having first joined the South Worcestershire prostate cancer support group, he moved on to the Kidderminster & Worcestershire PCSG as a trustee in 2020 and took over as editor of the group’s Supporter Magazine in 2021. His background is in education and training, mainly as a modern language teacher in a sixth form college but also as a director of his own language school for over 40 years. Married with 4 children and 5 grandchildren, Peter’s other interests include tennis and journalism.
