Meeting Location:
Meeting info:
We meet twice a month. Firstly on the first Saturday of the month online, then secondly on the third Saturday of the month at our office in New Cross. Both meetings are from 2-4pm.Our venue is in a meetings room above a public house between New Cross and New Cross Gate rail stations, please contact us for further details.
LGBTQ+ Walnut started in 2014 and was known as METRO Walnut and for 11 years part of METRO Charity. From April 2025 we continue to run our support group as an Association for any LGBTQ+ person and their supporters, affected by prostate cancer. Meetings are friendly where all are invited to participate as much as they feel like. Simon Faulkner, Prostate Cancer Peer Support Group Coordinator, continues to oversee the group which meets at a new venue in New Cross, which is one stop out from the London Bridge mainline station. As some people may not be able to travel to London to attend the meetings, we also run our online Zoom monthly support meeting also for those who live all around the UK. Please contact Simon for details. Please note - we also have had gay or bisexual individuals who have bowel, bladder or other cancers which can impact relationships and sex lives join the group, so they might be invited by arrangement to attend group meetings.
