Meeting info:
Twice a month. Firstly on the first Saturday of the month online, then secondly on the third Saturday of the month at our office in New Cross. Both meetings are from 2-4pm.
The METRO Walnut group (also known as LGBT Walnut) is hosted and run through METRO Charity and is a group for any LGBTQ+ person and their supporters, affected by prostate cancer. METRO Charity employs Prostate Cancer Peer Support Group Coordinator, Simon Faulkner, and provides a meeting space at their New Cross site, which is one stop out from the London Bridge mainline station. As some people may not be able to travel to London to attend the meetings, we also run an online Zoom monthly support meeting also for those who live all around the UK. Contact Simon for details. Please note - we also have had gay or bisexual individuals who have a bowel or bladder or other cancers which can impact relationships and sex lives also might be invited, by arrangement, to attend METRO Walnut group meetings.
