Sarah Wiles

Trustee

I am delighted to be able to use my experience and knowledge to help support Tackle Prostate Cancer and contribute to its long-term sustainability. Having worked in cancer services during my NHS career, I wanted to take on a Trustee role where I could make a genuine difference to people affected by cancer. This became even more personal when my husband was diagnosed with advanced metastatic prostate cancer in April 2025. Experiencing the impact of the disease on him and our family has strengthened my commitment to supporting others facing similar challenges.

I’ve spent most of my career in senior healthcare leadership roles across the NHS, healthcare consultancy, and the private sector, specialising in strategic planning, service improvement, and managing change. For almost 10 years, I held Director and Executive Director positions within NHS and Foundation Trusts, most recently as Chief of Staff at a Foundation Trust Bedfordshire.  Earlier in my career I worked within a major Cancer Centre in Northern England…a role I loved.

Over the years, I’ve led major healthcare developments, service redesign programmes, and fundraising initiatives, including raising money for specialist cancer equipment. I also worked as an independent healthcare consultant, advising both NHS organisations and private healthcare providers.

Alongside my healthcare career, I ran a successful holiday rental business on the North Norfolk coast and now focus on that, alongside community roles including Trustee of a local Hardship Fund and Parish Councillor.

Outside work, family life keeps me busy. I have an 18-year-old son preparing for university, two older stepchildren, and four wonderful granddaughters. I also love walking my two dogs around the North Norfolk coast and keeping active whenever I can.
