Sanjiv brings more than 35 years of global experience in executive leadership roles across clinical research, healthcare innovation, and life sciences leadership. A non-practising haematologist, he has contributed to the development of medicines, medical devices, and diagnostic solutions through roles spanning in research and development, translational medicine, clinical operations, and commercial strategy. His experience includes serving as a co-investigator, sponsor representative and patient participant in clinical research, while collaborating closely with executive leadership teams across biopharmaceutical, medical device, CRO, and central laboratory organisations.

Throughout his career, Sanjiv has advised multinational companies, academic institutions, and regulatory bodies on healthcare innovation, clinical development, and patient-centred research. He continues to provide strategic consultancy to biopharma, medical technology, academic, and AI-enabled healthcare organisations, with particular focus on prostate cancer, amongst other therapeutic areas.

As a prostate cancer survivor, Sanjiv brings a unique perspective that combines scientific, clinical, industry and patient experience. He is actively engaged in advancing prostate cancer awareness, research, and patient support at a national level, working across industry, academia, and charitable organisations. Through a number of leadership and advisory roles within the prostate cancer community, he remains committed to improving the patient journey: access to screening, accelerating innovations and further treatment options.
