We are seeking a confident and hardworking individual with fundraising experience who can play a significant role in meeting our growing targets. We are interested in people with different fundraising experience including corporate, trust, individual or community. You will be able to hit the ground running; taking ownership of some of our existing partnerships whilst using your initiative to develop and deliver new mutually beneficial partnerships and activities through excellent stakeholder management. You will be a professional, people person, be creative about seeking new ways of working, and enjoy networking to build relationships. You will be able to write persuasive and clear fundraising proposals and be comfortable with having a mixed portfolio and happy with being flexible.
About the role
As the Fundraising Manager you will be responsible for developing and leading on fundraising initiatives, building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be responsible for raising funds and increasing charitable income from community fundraising, corporate donors (particularly Life Sciences Industry), grants/trusts applications, and for developing of other key income streams. Working alongside the Board of Trustees, and National Support Development Manager, you will support the development and implementation of a robust fundraising plan. You will also work closely with the Communications Lead to execute a communications plan in line with our fundraising efforts.
