If you’ve received prostate cancer care, or you’re a family member of someone who has, YOU can nominate your nurse for the People’s Choice Award 2023. It’s a wonderful way to show your appreciation for their support and say thank you for all their hard work.
The People’s Choice Award
Prostate Cancer UK are sponsoring the People’s Choice Award at the British Association of Urological Nurses Annual Conference 2023. It recognises a nurse who’s made a significant difference to the lives of their prostate cancer patients. They’re someone who provides exceptional care at a truly difficult time.
What they’ll receive
The award winner will receive a £1,000 bursary which can be used towards:
- Improving their prostate cancer knowledge through professional development.
- Training opportunities for their team.
- Enhancing patient experience, e.g. improvements to a clinic waiting area.
Criteria: For a nurse to qualify for the award, they must currently be working within the NHS and supporting men with prostate cancer.
Applications close: Midnight on Monday 4 September 2023.
